Kindle Communications Certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise
[CHICAGO]—JULY 12, 2022—Kindle Communications, an experiential agency leading in live and virtual events, corporate communications and digital solutions, is proud to announce national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Development Center – Midwest, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
“Kindle has always been a collective of brilliant, strong and talented women with diverse backgrounds and perspectives who contribute excellence across all disciplines,” says Michelle Falknor, founding partner. “We are committed to nurturing opportunity and growth for each of them, and all Kindlers. That is why we sought and are so thrilled to attain our WBE certification…because it recognizes and celebrates the enormous contributions of all our fantastic females!”
The WBENC standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Development Center – Midwest is a meticulous process, including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated, and controlled by a woman or women.
In addition, more than 65 percent of Kindle Communications employees are women.
“Strong women’s voices, leadership and expertise are some of Kindle’s key differentiators,” says Colette May, founding partner. “We are thankful to have so many incredible, committed, creative, powerful women partnering with our clients and each other every single day.”
By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs. “This certification not only celebrates who we are and our foundation of women ownership but also allows us to meet our clients’ business needs so that we may continue to deliver the utmost in value as diversity increasingly drives procurement decisions,” May says.
